No. 90000069281) announces a competition for the Customs Administration Riga Customs Control Point Section Customs Control Point Senior Customs Inspector position (vacancy for an indefinite period) The Customs Administration is responsible for the basic activities and support functions of the State Revenue Service (hereinafter – SRS) in implementing customs policy. If you have: at least a first-level professional higher (college) education; ability to work in high-intensity conditions; basic skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel; a client-oriented approach when cooperating with SRS structural units, other state and municipal institutions, legal entities and individuals; compliance with the requirements of Article 6, paragraph 1 of the State Revenue Service Law and Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; an unblemished reputation. If you are ready to: work on a summed working time basis (shift work, including 12-hour day and night shifts, as well as possible work on weekends and public holidays according to the work schedule); conduct control of customs declarations and other customs documentation submitted electronically and/or in paper form and make decisions on the application of customs procedures; conduct physical customs control measures, implementing all types of physical customs control and actions as defined in regulatory acts; prepare documents for initiating Administrative Violation proceedings following control measures; ensure quality customer service to customs clients and uniform application of customs regulations.
