No. 90000069281) announces a competition for the Customs Administration Latgale Customs Control Points Division Customs Control Points Senior Customs Inspector position (10 vacancies for an indefinite period and 2 vacancies for a fixed term) The Customs Administration is responsible for the State Revenue Service's (hereinafter – SRS) core functions and support functions in the implementation of customs policy. If you have: at least first-level professional higher (college) education; knowledge of the regulatory acts governing SRS and customs operations; ability to work under conditions of increased intensity; basic skills in working with MS Outlook, Word, Excel; compliance with the requirements of Article 6, paragraph 1 of the State Revenue Service Law and Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law; good communication skills and customer-oriented thinking; an impeccable reputation. If you wish to invest your knowledge and skills in interesting and dynamic work and: are ready to work shift work, including 12-hour day and night shifts, as well as weekends and public holidays in accordance with the work schedule (summed working hours). perform physical customs control measures, inspecting goods, vehicles, and luggage perform inspection of submitted declarations and documents; perform control and compliance monitoring of goods subject to movement restrictions and prohibitions; perform inspection of compliance with road transport regulations.
