RIGA CITY MUNICIPALITY OUTDOOR SPACE AND MOBILITY DEPARTMENT announces a competition for a vacant position Maintenance Directorate Road Surface and Transport Structure Maintenance Department Senior Specialist (full-time work for a fixed term) The Riga City Municipality Outdoor Space and Mobility Department is the leading institution of Riga City Municipality in the field of traffic, transport (including public transport services) and external lighting, ensuring maintenance, design and construction organization of transport infrastructure objects, supervision, coordination, control of city public transport services and passenger commercial transportation, resolution and coordination of traffic organization and traffic safety issues, maintenance of the city public transport system and development of system concepts, attraction of investments for the realization of approved concepts, organization of operation, repair work and decorative lighting management of Riga City Municipality's external lighting networks, maintenance and management of street lighting, traffic lights and street clocks, technical operations and operation of mechanisms, ensuring maintenance of territories belonging to or owned by the municipality, restoration of objects in municipal possession and public use, implementation of territory improvement projects. Your responsibilities will include Ensuring document circulation in the department in accordance with records management requirements. Reviewing and preparing responses to submissions and suggestions from individuals, as well as other documents on matters within the department's competence. Preparing reports and information summaries on received suggestions and complaints, ensuring internal and external information circulation between responsible department staff and involved service providers. Monitoring changes in regulatory acts related to the performance of job duties and ensuring their application in work. Participating in commissions and working groups according to the directorate and municipal management instructions. We expect General secondary education or professional secondary education. Advanced level knowledge of the state language. Good practical skills for working with MS Office standard programs, web browsers, as well as the ability to learn and use other programs necessary for the performance of job duties. Skills in preparing and formatting business correspondence documentation. Good communication, business communication and organizational skills.
