Senior Business Development Consultant

Ropažu Municipality Government Institution Development, Property and Investment Department (Reg. No. 50900041741) invites applications for BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT (fixed-term position) (profession code 2421 01) Key Responsibilities: Resolve organizational matters to develop the business environment and support existing and potential entrepreneurs by engaging qualified legal, financial, or other necessary consultants. Promote effective communication with the municipality's current and prospective entrepreneurs, identifying their business needs. Conduct surveys of municipal entrepreneurs to identify obstacles and factors promoting entrepreneurship, initiate necessary business support forms and models. Research consulting topics needed by entrepreneurs and ensure engagement of additional necessary specialists to provide consultations, organize advisory seminars, including on attracting European Union and other structural funds and financing. Prepare an annual business promotion activities plan/budget that includes necessary financial sources and resource amounts. Organize cooperation and business promotion activities. Collaborate with Ropažu Municipality entrepreneur organizations. In cooperation with youth affairs specialists, promote youth involvement in entrepreneurship, including submitting proposals for mentor or specific company engagement. Create and maintain a database of commercial entities in the municipality, including documenting information for DeMinimis. Requirements for Candidates: Higher academic education or second-level professional higher education (preferably in a field related to entrepreneurship). Experience in a similar position of at least one year. Desired experience in project management. Desired experience working in a municipal/state institution. State language knowledge at an advanced level. Good English language skills necessary for performing relevant job duties (business trips abroad, participation in exhibitions, correspondence and verbal communication with event organizers and entrepreneurs abroad). Excellent knowledge and skills in working with information technologies. Excellent communication and cooperation skills, ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions. Initiative, creativity, ability to independently organize your work and work in a team. Category B driver's license.
