State Scientific Institute "Institute of Electronics and Computer Science" Registration No. 90002135242 Announces a job competition for Senior Accountant position (profession code 2411 01) Job Description: organizing accounting in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring a complete accounting cycle; preparing project reports (nationally and EU-funded) to support implementation; cooperation with state and municipal institutions within the scope of responsibility; providing support and necessary information to employees and Institute management; actively participate in daily accounting processes, provide support to colleagues during their absence - in salary calculations, preparation of accounting reports and financial statements; participation in the preparation of the annual report. Requirements for candidates: academic or second-level professional higher education in accounting, economics, or finance; knowledge of the laws of the Republic of Latvia on taxes and regulatory acts governing accounting; at least 3 years of experience in accounting; accounts payable and receivable management, payment processing, fixed assets, inventory and warehouse accounting, business travel accounting, VAT declaration preparation; good communication skills, high sense of responsibility and accuracy; understanding of project financial accounting and expenditure monitoring; good computer skills in MS Office and experience with the Horizon resource management system; experience in accounting organization in state administration will be considered an additional skill; experience in accounting organization of projects (nationally and EU-funded) will be considered an additional skill.
