We expect: Compliance with the requirements of Section 9 of the Law "On State Secrets"; First or second level professional higher education with a qualification in electrical engineering or a Master's degree in engineering sciences and at least one year of experience in the specialty (after obtaining the diploma); Group C electrical safety certificate; good knowledge of organizational and technical safety requirements for the operation of electrical supply facilities; good knowledge and understanding of matters related to real estate management; preferred: a certificate allowing measurement and testing of electrical installation technical parameters; preferred: professional development certificate in occupational safety (60-hour program completed); preferred: knowledge of procurement procedures and regulatory acts governing procurement; good written and oral communication skills; ability to determine the procedure for organizing work execution, planning and organizational skills; state language proficiency (minimum C level, 1st degree); ability to work with MS Office applications and web browsers at user level; Category B driving license; eID card for performing job duties. Main job responsibilities: plan, manage, control, and coordinate safe operation of electrical installations and activities related to operational matters in the objects assigned to the institution's management and asset management in accordance with regulatory requirements; perform the duties of a person responsible for electrical installation operation and work organization; develop instructions related to electrical installation operation, occupational safety requirements for electrical and non-electrical personnel; organize and conduct occupational safety instruction; carry out continuous electrical safety risk assessment for work on electrical installations; participate in development of technical specifications for procurements related to electrical installation operation, preservation and maintenance of facility electrical management, etc. Application documents - cover letter, CV, and copies of documents confirming education should be submitted by July 31, 2026 (inclusive) with reference to the vacant position to: State Defence Military Objects and Procurement Centre, 34 Ernestīnes Street, Riga, LV 1046 or electronically to: [email protected].
