We currently have a vacant position: Senior Expert (2 positions for an indefinite period) in the Public Investments and Business Development Division of the EU Funds Strategy Department The EU Funds Strategy Department is a structural unit that ensures the planning functions of the EU funds managing authority and the Recovery Fund coordinating authority. You will be responsible for and perform the following main duties: development of EU funds planning documents and their amendments in accordance with your area of competence; ensure coordination and alignment of conditions for implementing specific support objectives of the EU funds planning period 2021-2027 in accordance with your competence; ensure representation, preparation of information, and provision of consultation regarding planned EU fund investments in the fields of business support, digital connectivity and cybersecurity, or energy and energy efficiency. To successfully begin performing the duties of the vacant position, you must meet the following requirements: academic higher or professional higher education in social or natural sciences, desired experience in European Union funds management or experience with business support programs, desired minimum 1 year of experience working in state administration within the last 5 years and understanding of its operating principles, knowledge of EU funds management issues, EU institutions, operating principles, and decision-making processes, good English language skills – ability to work with documents in English and participate in meetings conducted in English, good presentation, persuasion, and argumentation skills, computer skills at user level (MS Office), analytical thinking, compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the Civil Service Law.
