Senior Expert (2 vacancies for an indefinite period) in the EU Fund Implementation and Methodology Division of the EU Fund System Management Department
The EU Fund Implementation and Methodology Division of the European Union Fund System Management Department is a structural unit that ensures the development and updating of the EU fund management and control system, provides methodological support in the application of simplified costs and eligible cost conditions, ensures cooperation regarding European Commission, European Court of Auditors, and Audit Office audits of the EU fund management and control system, and provides opinions on draft legal acts concerning foreign financial instrument management and implementation in accordance with competence.

You will need to take responsibility and perform the following main duties:
review and provide opinions on methodology draft projects submitted by ministries regarding the application of simplified costs;
develop and/or update horizontal simplified cost methodologies;
review institutions' questions regarding the eligibility of EU fund expenses.
To successfully begin performing the duties of the vacant position, you must meet the following requirements:
academic higher or professional higher education in social sciences;
desirable experience with EU fund administration issues or internal control systems;
experience working in state administration of at least 1 year within the last 5 years, with understanding of its operating principles;
desirable knowledge of EU institutions, their operating principles, and decision-making processes;
good English language skills – ability to work with documents in English and participate in meetings conducted in English;
good presentation, persuasion, and argumentation skills;
analytical and conceptual thinking;
compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the State Civil Service Law.
