The Service Provision Department organizes and methodologically directs the provision of social care, social rehabilitation, and health care services to clients of VSAC "Zemgale", monitors the quality of provided social services, conducts control of the compliance of provided social services with the requirements of regulatory acts, and coordinates measures related to client safety at VSAC "Zemgale" 8 branches.
We are recruiting for the Service Provision Department
A SENIOR EXPERT IN HEALTH CARE (1 position for an indefinite period).

Requirements for candidates:
second or first level professional higher education in health care;
work experience in the social system or in the field related to social services, including health care;
knowledge of regulatory acts on social services and social assistance, protection of rights of persons with disabilities;
ability to work in complex situations;
ability to evaluate facts, analyze data, forecast and assess risks;
ability to recognize and identify problems, understand their causes, and propose solutions;
excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. - intermediate level);
experience working in a municipal or state institution will be valued as an advantage;
understanding of state administration values and ethical principles;
state language proficiency: Latvian - highest level C.
Main duties:
consult and methodologically guide the work of the Center's branches on issues of social care and social rehabilitation service provision;
prepare drafts of regulatory acts and methodological documents on social care and social rehabilitation issues;
conduct internal control and oversight of the compliance of social care and social rehabilitation services provided to the Center's clients with requirements set out in regulatory acts, identify problems and possible risks, prepare inspection reports or service reports;
review submissions related to the quality of social care and social rehabilitation services and compliance with client rights, prepare responses;
identify risks to ensuring the quality of social services, provide recommendations for risk prevention;
develop quality criteria for health care services;
coordinate health care processes in structural units;
conduct control measures in the Center's structural units regarding the quality of health services provided and compliance with requirements set out in regulatory acts, etc.;
conduct regular inspections in structural units.
We offer:
work in an office, with remote work options (up to 3 working days per week);
Salary (gross) from EUR 1350 - EUR 1817, depending on professional experience and competencies, during probation up to EUR 1375, depending on experience and professional skills in the social system or in the field related to social services in state administration or a municipal institution, average salary after probation EUR 1475;
work experience in state administration;
