Smiltene Municipality Library is looking for a Senior Librarian who is ready to actively engage in the library's daily operations and event organization.

Your main responsibilities:
plan and organize literature and library promotion events and creative work exhibitions, including media publicity;
prepare author agreements, service contracts, and service acceptance and transfer acts;
work with the periodicals collection;
participate in providing library and information services in the adult services department;
participate in organizing and managing the subscription collection;
work in the library's information system ALISE;
We will value in you:
previous work experience in event organization and management will be considered an advantage;
higher or professional education in library science or higher education in another field;
proficiency in the state language at C1 level;
initiative and desire for professional development;
competencies: communication and collaboration skills; psychological resilience and high standards of interpersonal conduct; positive, creative, and responsible attitude toward work;
good skills in working with information technology;
knowledge of literature.
