We are looking for you to work as a HIR advisor in crop production. HIR stands for the Hushållningssällskapet's individual advisory services – through personal guidance, we optimize farmers' production.
About the Position
Are you attracted to an advisory role that requires both teamwork and strong personal drive? As a crop production advisor at HS Gotland, you work closely with farmers and provide guidance throughout the growing season. The role includes both fieldwork and office work, where you support customers with questions including crop planning, cultivation strategies, weeds, pests, and crop protection products.
You conduct field consultations, write advisory letters, and offer guidance within Greppa Näringen. The position also includes assisting customers with CAP applications and other EU support, as well as participating in field walks and customer meetings. As an advisor, you are an important support for farmers in their decisions and planning for sustainable and profitable crop production.
About You
We are looking for a team player with strong communication skills, who is self-driven and organized. You value delivering high-quality and careful work. For us, the customer is in focus and your role involves many contact points both internally and externally, which is why social competence is highly valued.
We strive to offer our customers a comprehensive solution, which includes close collaboration with both colleagues in crop production advice and our other advisors in accounting, legal matters, and business development. You also get a fantastic opportunity to be part of a large network, as we have extensive exchange with the other 14 Hushållningssällskap organizations around the country.
Qualifications
Relevant post-secondary education; Agronomist, Agricultural Engineer, or equivalent competence.
Service-oriented and communicative
Comfortable with a digitalized work approach
A valid driver's license (category B) is required as travel is part of the position
Experience in advisory services and practical agricultural experience are merits.
