We at KSJ AB work with personal assistance – the way it should be done! Here you'll meet Karin, Magnus, Sylvia, and Bibban with extensive experience, great dedication, and a heart for people. We know that good assistance is built on security, respect, and close collaboration. With long and solid experience in personal assistance, from both large and mid-sized companies, we know what it takes to create security, continuity, and quality of life for our clients – and also for our important assistants. As an employer, we care about your well-being. That's why we offer good terms, are affiliated with collective agreements, and provide a generous wellness allowance. With us, you are important – both to the client and to us! Feel free to visit us at Elbegatan 5 in Malmö – just check with us first to make sure we're there. To ensure safe and secure assistance, we conduct a background check if you become relevant for the position. If the work involves services for people over 18 years of age, you must provide an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register. If the work involves services for children, you must submit an extract from the criminal record and suspicion register, which we will keep for 2 years, in accordance with applicable legislation. The world's perhaps most important side job? Do you enjoy routines, structure, and making a real difference? Do you also have the energy for long, brisk walks and like to come up with fun activities? Then maybe you're the person we're looking for! We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of a dedicated and warm assistant team around a 38-year-old man with autism. For him, security, continuity, and clarity are absolutely essential, which is why we're looking for someone who wants to be a recurring and familiar person in his everyday life. About the assignment The man needs support in most aspects of his daily life. He walks on his own and very much enjoys long walks at a brisk pace, so you need to be in good physical condition and enjoy being outdoors. He has no spoken communication, so it's a big advantage if you have experience with autism and alternative communication, such as visual supports or sign language as support. If you don't have that experience but have the right personal qualities and a willingness to learn, that's also of interest. His interests include veteran cars, music, film, as well as series and story characters, and we'd like you to enjoy planning activities and outings based on what brings him joy. As an assistant, you also accompany him to his daily activities a few days a week. Job responsibilities You support him in everything related to daily life, including: • Personal care and hygiene • Cooking • Cleaning and household chores • Shopping • Documentation • Walks and other activities • Outings and social gatherings • Support related to daily activities We're looking for someone who... • Is confident, calm, and clear in your manner. • Enjoys routines and appreciates order and organization. • Is flexible and takes responsibility. • Is in good physical condition and preferably enjoys long walks. • Speaks and understands Swedish fluently. • Is a non-smoker. • Preferably is 40+ (personal suitability is always most important). • Has experience with autism and alternative communication – or a strong willingness to learn. About the position You work three fixed overnight shifts (with waiting time during parts of the night) over four weeks. (week 1: Sunday-Monday, week 2: off, weeks 3 and 4: Thursday to Friday). In between, you are expected to be available as a substitute and cover shifts as needed. This arrangement is important for creating continuity and security for the man, while also giving you the opportunity to become a natural part of his life. What you get You become part of a wonderful, tight-knit assistant team where people help each other and where the focus is always on creating a safe, meaningful, and fun everyday life for the man. This is an assignment that gives a lot back and where you really get the opportunity to make a difference – on every shift. Do you recognize yourself? Then we hope to hear from you. We look forward to getting to know you!
