We are now seeking an engaged care educator/vocational instructor who wants to be part of educating the future workforce in care and support services. We are particularly looking for you who have competence and experience in nursing care. Job Responsibilities As a care educator, you are responsible for instruction in care and support education within adult education. You plan, implement, and follow up instruction based on applicable governing documents and work to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The position includes, among other things: - Teach within care and support subjects, psychiatry, and psychology - Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction - Guide and support students in their learning - Coordinate and follow up work-based learning (APL) - Collaborate with employers and operations within care and support services - Participate in development work to strengthen the education's quality and attractiveness - Contribute to developing the education's content based on the labor market's competence needs Qualifications We are looking for you who: - Have relevant education in care and support services, social work, or related field - Are a licensed nurse - Have experience from care and support operations and good understanding of operations' competence needs - Have experience in one or more areas: healthcare, nursing care, psychiatry, or psychology - Have teaching credentials - Have good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing - Have good collaboration skills and a genuine interest in adult learning - Experience with instruction in adult education or upper secondary school - Experience mentoring students or employees or newly hired staff - Experience working with validation and individualized learning - Experience with collaboration with the labor market and matters related to APL Personal Qualities We are looking for you who are pedagogical, engaged, and have a genuine interest in supporting adult learning. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to create trusting relationships with both students, colleagues, and collaboration partners. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your assignment, and actively contribute to the operation's development.
