Description Komvux Värmdö offers upper secondary adult education, basic adult education, Swedish for Immigrants (SFI), adapted education, and vocational higher education. The school is centrally located in Gustavsbergs centrum, approximately 30 minutes from Slussen. Värmdö Municipality is the governing authority, and our approximately 500 course participants come mostly from Värmdö. We are a small and personal school where the student is at the center and given good conditions for learning and development. All our teachers are licensed, and for students in need of special support, a special education teacher is available. We actively work for a good school culture where learning, collaboration, and well-being are in focus. Job Description As a care educator, you will teach students in care and nursing education in various care subjects. You plan, conduct, and follow up on instruction, and adapt it based on students' different conditions and needs. You work closely with our other care educators and contribute to the development of the educational program's pedagogical content and methods. Teaching is conducted both in the classroom and remotely, with the learning platform Itslearning as a central tool. The role may also include work with, for example, validation and other activities related to care education. We are Looking for You We are looking for someone who: is a licensed teacher with authorization to teach in the care and nursing program. has experience teaching within Komvux has good knowledge of digital tools and learning platforms has a competency certificate that confirms your teaching authorization. It is meritorious if you: have authorization to teach CPR have experience teaching remotely. We place great importance on social competencies and personal suitability. You have a natural ability to build good relationships and meet students with attentiveness and respect. You have the ability to individualize instruction while working in a structured and clear manner. You collaborate well with colleagues, are communicative, and actively contribute to a positive work environment and good school culture. You are curious and enjoy developing instruction and trying new approaches. You enjoy working with people and are driven by seeing students grow and develop.
