Temporary Substitute in Social Care and Remedial Education – through December We are seeking an engaged and flexible substitute instructor for teaching in social care and providing remedial education. This is a temporary position starting as soon as possible and running through December 2026. Job Responsibilities The position includes, among other things: teaching within social care providing remedial education to participants who need extra support in their studies planning and delivering instruction based on participants' different needs and circumstances monitoring participants' academic progress collaborating with other teachers and staff at the school What We're Looking For you have education and/or experience in healthcare and care or social care you have experience teaching, mentoring, or working in educational settings you are confident working with adult participants from diverse linguistic and educational backgrounds you can adapt instruction to meet individual needs you are organized, flexible, and have strong collaboration skills It is a plus if you have experience in adult education, folk high schools, SFI, or language-strengthening instruction within healthcare and social care.
