Welcome to Women's Healthcare! We focus on women's health throughout all stages of life. Our operations include both outpatient and inpatient gynecology and obstetrics. Outpatient services include obstetric specialist care, day care, and gynecological specialist care. Inpatient services include labor and delivery, postpartum care, and gynecological inpatient care. We are located in Gävle and Hudiksvall. The Obstetrics Department in Hudiksvall is at the forefront of several modern projects and is among Sweden's best at preventing perineal tears in women. We have approximately 800 deliveries/year starting from week 32 of pregnancy. Here work 30 employees, and as nursing unit manager you have unit responsibility with personnel responsibility for midwives and administrative staff. You work closely with your counterpart in postpartum care who is responsible for nurses and nursing assistants. We are now seeking a driven nursing unit manager who wants to lead our obstetrics department on the journey toward future healthcare. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As nursing unit manager, you have overall leadership responsibility for personnel, finances, work environment, production, patient safety, and business development. You report directly to the operations manager and are part of the regional operations area's cross-county leadership team, where you and fellow managers share responsibility for the entire operations area. You will work closely with colleagues in the leadership team to deliver equivalent care throughout the county for the benefit of our patients. You are confident in your leadership and have a natural ability to create structure and joy in the team.
