We collaborate within the organization through knowledge exchange, resources, and work together to ensure you can always reach us.
Bra Liv Habo has approximately 10,700 registered patients and provides primary care in close collaboration with our neighboring care providers within Habo Municipality; home health care, elderly care facilities, and family centers including child health clinics and maternal health clinics. Bra Liv Habo has approximately 39 employees.
The Care Unit Manager Role
We at Bra Liv Habo Health Center are now seeking a Care Unit Manager for a permanent position as a registered nurse and acting Care Unit Manager. The position is full-time with a start date by agreement. The position may include some evening and weekend shifts at our Emergency Clinic.
We are looking for a licensed registered nurse/district nurse with previous management experience, preferably within primary care. You have strong structural and organizational abilities, experience working with changes and improvements, in addition to your clinical expertise within your professional role.
As a person, you should be able to work independently and with different professions. The work is varied and fast-paced, so it is important that you are flexible and able to adapt your work, approach, and attitude based on employees, patients, and situations.

In your role as Care Unit Manager, you will have personnel and work environment responsibility for nurses, district nurses, and nursing assistants. One of your tasks is to plan, lead, organize, and coordinate daily operations in consultation with the staff group. You will be part of the management team consisting of the Operations Manager, team coordinators, and the medically responsible physician. In addition to your role as Care Unit Manager, we believe it is important that you continuously work clinically within your core profession to understand the full scope of the operation.
