Your work tasks At Kärna home care, we are now looking for a committed employee who wants to make a difference in our users' daily lives. In home care, you work close to people and contribute to security, good quality of life, and the opportunity to live as independently as possible in your own home. The work is varied and meaningful, and every day you meet people with different needs, circumstances, and life situations. The workday begins with you picking up your work mobile and reviewing the day's planning and visits. After that, you visit users in their homes. Travel is done on foot, by bicycle, or by car. Work tasks vary and may consist of personal care, meal support, social interaction, cleaning, cooking, shopping, and laundry. You also perform certain health and medical care tasks after delegation from a nurse. The work involves great personal responsibility, while you also have close collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups. You cooperate with home care nursing, rehabilitation personnel, and other functions around the user to ensure that the services are of good quality and based on the user's needs. The role includes contact person responsibilities. This includes planning and following up on services, documenting in the Treserva journal system, and having contact with relatives and others involved. The position is full-time with working hours scheduled for day, evening, and every other weekend. Your workplace Kärna supported living facility, operated by the Department of Care and Social Services, is located on Kärnabrunnsgatan in Malmslätt and consists of 35 supported living apartments where users receive support from home care. The facility has pleasant outdoor areas surrounded by greenery. Home care also offers assistance to people living in central Malmslätt and in the nearby countryside. At the workplace, you are part of a team of approximately 30 employees, most of whom are nursing assistants. We value community and a pleasant work environment. To promote this, we regularly gather after morning visits to assess users' situations and share experiences. Every fourth week, workplace meetings (APT) are held to discuss development issues and ensure continuous improvement. You who are applying We are looking for someone with completed upper secondary education. It is an advantage if you are trained as a nursing assistant. You must have previous experience working within care, support, and social services. It is a requirement that you can cycle and have a driver's license (category B), as the work takes place in a larger geographic area and we reach users by both bicycle and car. You also need to feel comfortable using digital tools, for example mobile phone and documentation systems. Since the work involves many meetings with people and some documentation, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you take responsibility for your work and can work independently, while you enjoy collaborating with others. You are attentive in meeting people and treat users and relatives with respect. You communicate clearly and ensure that important information reaches colleagues and others involved.
