Job Duties: Storumans Municipality is seeking staff for our elderly care services in Tärnaby, 130 kilometers outside Storuman and 20 kilometers from Hemavan. In home care, we drive out by car to service users who need help with, for example, getting meals, taking medicine, showering, changing incontinence pads, and cleaning. Therefore, as an applicant for this position, you must have a B-category driver's license and be interested in providing care. Work is scheduled during the day (7:00-14:15) mixed with evening shifts (14:00-21:30), on weekdays and weekends according to schedule. There are heavy lifting tasks involved in the work, and we provide training in how to do this as ergonomically as possible. Qualifications Education and previous experience of similar work within elderly care and LSS are meritorious. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. You should be positive, patient, and have a commitment to the task as well as good cooperation skills and be able to take your own initiative. Speaking and understanding Swedish is important to us. We have a language requirement equivalent to passing grades in Swedish in ninth grade. In case of any unclear points, we will conduct a written language test. Before a contract is signed, you need to have submitted an extract from the criminal record register, which you order from the Police Authority. Employment Type: Permanent position.
