Job Duties: Storumans Municipality is seeking staff for our elderly care services in Tärnaby, 130 kilometers outside Storuman and 20 kilometers from Hemavan. In home care, we drive to users who need help with, for example, preparing meals, taking medication, showering, changing incontinence products, and cleaning. Therefore, you must have a Class B driver's license and be interested in providing care. Work is scheduled during day shifts (7:00-14:15) mixed with evening shifts (14:00-21:30), on weekdays and weekends according to schedule. The work involves heavier lifting tasks, and we provide training on how to do this as ergonomically as possible. Qualifications Education and previous experience with similar work in elderly care and disability services (LSS) are merits. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability. You should be positive, patient, and committed to the task, with good collaboration skills and the ability to take your own initiative. Being able to speak and understand Swedish is important to us. We have a language requirement equivalent to passing grades in Swedish in the ninth grade. In case of any uncertainties, we will conduct a written language test. Before a contract is signed, you must have submitted a criminal record certificate, which you order from the Police Authority. Employment Type: Permanent position.
