We are now seeking staff for our team in Oxelösund to work as a Care Assistant in the evening. Here you'll have meaningful work where you make a difference every day.
Employment Terms and Conditions
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday & every other weekend
Employment Rate: 75%
Working Hours: 15:30 - 22:00
Employment Type: 6-month probationary period leading to possible permanent employment or as-needed contract
Start Date: Immediately or by agreement
Work Location: You'll be based at our office in Oxelösund and work within Oxelösund municipality.
Work Tasks – What Will You Do?
You'll work in customers' homes with varying services based on individual needs:
Personal care – support with hygiene, dressing, and mobility assistance
Social support & conversation – create security through presence and good interaction
Daily living assistance – help with meals and simple household tasks
Supervision & safety – identify needs and contribute to safe care
Documentation – document according to care plans
Medication delegation – administering medication as prescribed, including documentation and follow-up according to current procedures
Emergency alarm response – quickly respond to acute needs from customers who have activated alarms. We work on assignment for Oxelösund municipality and are responsible for both routine home care tasks and emergency alarm handling between 06:45 - 22:00. This is a varied role with both scheduled and more acute interventions.
Who Are You?
We're looking for someone who is dedicated and wants to contribute to safe and professional home care:
Care Assistant certification (preferred) – you have completed training, preferably with experience
Good Swedish in speech and writing – you can communicate clearly and document accurately
Class B driver's license – you are a safe and experienced driver
Comfortable cycling – you feel comfortable traveling between customers by bike
Responsible, flexible, and solution-oriented – you take initiative, work independently, and stay calm in different situations while collaborating well with colleagues and meeting people with empathy, respect, and understanding
Comfortable with technology – you use a mobile phone in your daily work
Medication delegation experience – experience with medication delegation and familiarity with medication handling according to procedures
