The Oncology Clinic at Linköping University Hospital provides highly specialized healthcare and has overall responsibility for cancer treatment in Östergötland and the Southeast Healthcare Region. The clinic also includes a clinical trials unit.
The Administration Unit is responsible for healthcare administration, much of the IT area, telephone systems, and a number of quality registers related to operations. Together with various professional categories, we work to provide the best possible service to patients, employees, referring physicians, and students. Healthcare administrators at the Oncology Clinic work primarily in one section, with a limited number of diagnoses, but also from a clinic perspective when prioritization is needed.

Job Description
We are a happy group of healthcare administrators with a good collaborative climate, and we are now looking for a new colleague! The healthcare administrator position offered is varied and developmental. In your daily work, you will work with various systems, both patient administration and human resources administration. Administrative work is also combined with practical tasks such as mail handling.
The main tasks consist of medical record documentation, billing, and administrative planning before and after patient visits and rounds.
Additional tasks and career paths specifically for you will be planned together based on the clinic's needs, your wishes, and previous experience. If you want to develop within healthcare administration or your own areas of responsibility, we will make sure you do so with us!
About You
You are a trained healthcare administrator or will be fully trained shortly. It is an advantage for this position if you have good knowledge of the region's data and medical record systems (such as Cosmic and Dokumenta) and have experience from oncology operations.
We are looking for someone who is an engaged employee and wants to work in a large clinic. As a person, you are positive, calm, attentive, and accommodating. You are structured and thorough, and you perform your tasks with high quality. The work requires the ability to work independently as well as in a group.
