Your responsibilities: Perform repairs, service, and maintenance on various types of rental machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose both mechanical and electrical systems, as well as work with hydraulics and pneumatics. Use both digital and analog diagnostic tools to quickly identify and fix technical problems. Inspect the machines' external and internal functions, including engine status, battery, hydraulic systems, and more. Ensure machines are in top condition before being sent to customers. Document work in Renta's administrative system to manage work orders. Renta's customers build all kinds of things with our machines. Sometimes they come back in one piece, sometimes they don't. But what they always need is a little care and attention. You receive and assess the condition of machines, service and repair them—sometimes even on emergency call-outs in the field. You also help with setup and support the rest of the depot, from rental coordinators to distributors. We help each other because building is a team sport. We're looking for someone who has: A workshop background. A positive attitude, is outgoing, and service-minded. Solid technical knowledge in both mechanics and electronics, ideally with experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Good computer skills since you'll work in various quotation and order management systems. Ability to work independently, be flexible, and take great responsibility. A strong interest in construction and infrastructure, and a desire to constantly develop. As a Service Technician, you'll be a valuable resource in Renta's team and work closely with depot managers, order and transport staff, inside sales, and workshop personnel. Why Renta?
