About the Position As a production technician, you work closely with the operations organization and provide support with technical problem-solving during operational disruptions and breakdowns to strengthen the facility's operational reliability. You are responsible for planning and prioritizing preventive and non-urgent maintenance initiatives and play a central role in planning the annual maintenance shutdown in close collaboration with both operations and maintenance organizations. The position involves many contact points and close collaboration with operators, supervisors, maintenance organization, and external suppliers. The position belongs to the Production Development department, which consists of production technicians, production engineers, process engineer for environment/energy, and laboratory operations. Together, the department works to develop processes, optimize production, and ensure sustainable operations. Your Profile We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have good technical understanding and the ability to identify the causes of problems and translate them into practical solutions. Qualifications: Technical secondary education or equivalent competence as assessed by the employer as equivalent. Experience working as a production technician or similar role, or alternatively other experience that the employer assesses as equivalent. Meritorious: Several years of experience from the pulp and paper industry Post-secondary education in production technology, process technology, pulp technology, or equivalent field.
