Together we develop Sahlgrenska University Hospital for a sustainable future. We are transforming healthcare with the goal of being Europe's leading university hospital by 2032. Working together with patients, we strive for quality, accessibility, patient safety, research, education, and innovation – in a coordinated healthcare system in the Västra Götaland Region. Our vision and goals are aimed at care of the highest quality, where the patient is always in focus. We provide healthcare locally and regionally, as well as highly specialized care for patients throughout the country and abroad. Our employees are our strength and they contribute to knowledge exchange nationally and internationally. With digital tools and new ways of working, we can simplify daily operations at the hospital and offer modern, accessible, and efficient care of the highest quality. About Us If you are as enthusiastic as we are about the upcoming comorbidity reform and want to be part of the development as we transform into future care for patients with substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity, this is a job for you! Resource Reception for Substance Dependence is part of PBÖ - Psychiatry Substance Dependence Outpatient Care and is part of a matrix organization together with Dependence Reception Hisingen and Dependence Reception Olskroken, as well as to some extent LARO. We are a resource facility that offers complementary and time-limited interventions for people over 18 years of age with severe substance dependence, with or without psychiatric comorbidity. You cannot apply directly to us; instead, we offer interventions to people who already have an affiliation within VO Dependence's outpatient care. Our treatment offering includes a wide range of group treatments including drop-in groups, psychosocial and psychological treatment, assessments, as well as occupational therapy and rehabilitation coordinating interventions based on a stepped care treatment process. About the Work As a social worker at Resource Reception for Substance Dependence, you will facilitate several group treatments together with colleagues each week. You will also provide individual interventions as alternatives to group treatment for patients who cannot participate in groups for various reasons. Interventions are provided primarily based on our group concepts, such as MI, Relapse Prevention, and Basic Skills Training. We also anticipate that some type of outreach work in accordance with the comorbidity reform may become relevant. Since the facility's mission is rapidly adapted to meet the needs of patients and outpatient care, we are in constant development. The reception has a clear mission and vision where we want to improve and develop care for patients within our target group. Part of this work includes implementing new knowledge and evaluating both our treatments and our operations. An important prerequisite for our work is close and well-functioning teamwork with the base clinics and other outpatient services, strong collaboration with neighboring care providers and other stakeholders, as well as with user organizations. We offer a stimulating workplace with good opportunities for varied and developmental work from both an organizational perspective and regarding education and peer supervision. At Resource Reception for Substance Dependence, in addition to social workers, we have psychologists, an occupational therapist, a nurse, and a rehabilitation coordinator, as well as a section manager and unit manager. About You We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. You need to have experience with our target group, which means we want you to have worked in substance dependence care and preferably also in psychiatry. We also value experience working within Social Services with this target group. You have a motivational interviewing approach that permeates your work and your treatment of patients. You have an interest in working in an integrated and flexible manner with patients who have substance dependence and psychiatric comorbidity. The work requires that you have personal maturity and a flexible approach in the various situations that may arise, where good patient treatment is central. You enjoy being part of developing the operations and are happy to contribute your experience and curiosity to try new things. You need to be able to work both independently and together with others toward commonly established goals, as we are constantly seeking to change and improve. Since the work requires good teamwork for the patient's benefit, strong communication and collaboration skills are important. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. We would prefer that you are a licensed healthcare social worker. We warmly welcome your application!
