Job Description
As a facilities manager at SiS youth institution Långanäs, you contribute to a safe and secure environment for both staff and youth. Your primary task is to support all departments with daily facilities maintenance. This includes maintenance and repairs of premises and facilities. You also assist with goods handling, waste management, and our recycling station. Examples of ongoing maintenance include adjusting a lock or handle, installing a shelf, or handling problems with electronics and appliances. Sorting and removal of material to the recycling center are part of your responsibilities.
You will also take on the role of facilities supervisor in our organizational fire safety work. Here you drive systematic fire safety work by performing technical inspections, conducting fire safety training for staff, and organizing evacuation drills. Your responsibilities also include managing authority cards and work clothes for staff.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who takes initiative to start tasks and complete them. You plan, organize, and prioritize work efficiently and meet the set deadlines. In addition to this, you are flexible, adapt easily to changing circumstances, and have the ability to reprioritize. You are someone who finds solutions and is thorough in your work.
You should also have:
High school diploma
Understanding of safety work
Previous experience with similar tasks
Class B driver's license
It is a merit if you have:
Experience working with IT and fire systems Unison, Traka, and Prevision.
Experience troubleshooting alarm positioning.
Experience working with access control systems.

Employment:
The position is a permanent full-time appointment beginning with a six-month trial period. Start date by agreement. Salary by agreement. Benefits according to collective agreement.
