As a custodian with us, you'll combine practical work with service and be an important part of the daily operations in a workplace where your work makes a difference. Your Responsibilities In the role of custodian, you are responsible for daily service and practical operations of the facility. You are important support for our approximately 85 employees and contribute to a safe, well-functioning, and pleasant work environment. Your tasks are varied and include minor repairs and maintenance, facility service, key and access card management, and supervision of premises and common areas. You are also responsible for mail and goods handling, internal transportation, ordering and restocking office and consumable supplies, and preparing conference and meeting rooms. The role also includes contact with contractors, coordination of minor service tasks, and ensuring that the facility's vehicles, equipment, and storage areas are kept in good condition. You participate in systematic occupational health and safety work by reporting defects, risks, and injuries, and contribute to a safe and secure workplace. As a custodian, you are the facility's contact person for practical service matters and play an important role in creating a well-functioning daily routine for both employees and visitors. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with completed upper secondary education, a Category B driver's license, and a forklift certificate A and/or B. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, are familiar with working in Office 365, and have good physical capacity as the position involves practical work and heavy lifting. The position also requires the training "Work on the Road, Step 1." If you also have experience working in municipal operations, goods and materials receiving, basic facility technology, or lock, alarm, or access control systems, we see that as a plus. To succeed in this role, you are practical, have a strong service mindset, and enjoy varied tasks. No two days are the same, which requires you to be flexible, organized, and self-directed. You take responsibility for your tasks, prioritize easily, adapt to the facility's needs, and work well with others.
