The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Committee and Primary School Committee. The Administration is responsible for preschool activities, school childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. Edboskolan is an F-6 school with approximately 800 students and 110 employees who work together to create a school where knowledge, safety, and joy are the focus.
Reading, curiosity, and joy are the cornerstones of Huddinge Municipality's primary schools, and student knowledge, safety, and agency are in focus. Primary schools in Huddinge work with three priority areas: mathematics, language development, and IT in teaching. Huddinge Municipality should offer education based on research and proven experience.

We are now looking for a caretaker for our wonderful school.
About the Work
Property Maintenance and Interior Upkeep:
Perform ongoing inspections, minor repairs, painting work, and assembly in the school's facilities.
Handle maintenance reports from school staff regarding lighting, furniture, locks, and sanitation.
Coordinate and receive external craftspeople, contractors, and service technicians for major tasks.
Inspection and maintenance of the school's tools, machines, and storage areas.
Safety and Fire Protection (SBA):
Perform regular inspections within the school's Systematic Fire Protection Work (SBA), such as inspection of evacuation routes, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting.
Responsible for key management, access cards, and alarm procedures.
Continuously check that the school yard, play equipment, and fencing are safe for students.
Exterior Environment:
Keep the schoolyard clean and tidy (litter collection and simple gardening).
Responsible for or coordinate snow removal and de-icing at entrances and walkways.
Responsible for the school's waste sorting and disposal management.
Service and School Support:
Receive, sort, and distribute freight deliveries, teaching materials, and internal mail.
Furnish and arrange facilities for parent meetings, school closings, national tests, and other school events.
Provide practical support to teachers and other staff in daily operations.
Student Contact and Safety:
Act as a visible, calm, and safe adult in hallways and on the schoolyard.
Treat students with respect and contribute to a positive atmosphere at the school.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in craftwork, property maintenance, or similar practical service work.
Driver's license (Category B).
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing.
Basic IT skills for handling email and digital maintenance reports.
We consider the following as advantageous:
Education in property management, electrical work, plumbing, or construction.
Training in Systematic Fire Protection Work (SBA).
Certificate for Hot Work.
First Aid and CPR training.
As a person, we would like you to be solution-oriented and handy. You have the ability to take your own initiative and quickly solve practical problems. We also see that you are service-minded and flexible. You have a helpful approach and the ability to prioritize when urgent needs arise. It is also important that you enjoy working in an environment with children and young people and that you have good and patient communication skills.
