The Children's and Education Department works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The Department is responsible for preschool activities, school childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. About the Workplace Källbrinks Ro consists of Källbrinksskolan (grades F-9) and Stenmoskolan (grades F-3), two municipal primary schools located in Sjödalen-Fullersta, right next to a beautiful natural area with forest and Källbrinks sports field. Stenmoskolan has approximately 220 students and 25 employees. The school is characterized by positive student perspective, relational work, and high expectations for both students and employees. About the Work As a caretaker, you are part of the service team, and as a recreation resource, you are part of after-school activities at Stenmoskolan. Your main caretaker duties at Stenmoskolan and Källbrinksskolan (grades F-6) are to handle maintenance reports that come in to the caretaker's office. This may include performing simple repairs of equipment and furniture, painting, moving, unpacking goods, etc. You participate in meetings with the facilities manager and report maintenance issues that should be handled externally. You also have certain responsibility for fire safety and alarms. The position is a temporary assignment during fall term 2026, with the possibility of extension. Your main recreation duties are to support students so they can succeed according to their own potential. You may apply for the position if you wish to work only as a caretaker or only as a recreation resource. In that case, each respective position encompasses 50%. As a caretaker, we will agree together on working hours based on operational needs. As a recreation resource, you work mainly during afternoons. Your Profile You can work independently as a caretaker. You have experience performing simple repairs of equipment and furniture, painting, moving, and unpacking goods. You are accustomed to using the telephone as a work tool and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Experience working with children or young people is a requirement. We would like to see that you have experience working in school or leading children and young people in other contexts, for example as a sports leader, camp leader, or within volunteer activities. As a person, you are a calm and trustworthy adult role model, organized, and orderly. Qualifications You have experience working with children and young people as well as experience performing simple repairs. You also have a relevant high school diploma. Why Huddinge?
