Maintenance Manager

About Us During the year, the municipality has undergone a reorganization and maintenance managers are now part of the Community Development Sector. The Technology and Service unit is responsible for operation, maintenance, and development of the municipality's streets, parks, natural areas, public spaces, sports and recreational facilities, and more. This also includes facility maintenance, vehicle management, traffic matters, and project management of municipal construction projects. We are in an exciting time where all the municipality's maintenance managers are gathering in one common group. This will result in an expansion of both work tasks and employees. The group will consist of seven employees, and the primary task is to provide assistance and service to colleagues in other activities in Orsa municipality. The work tasks are varied and truly important. We are looking for someone who enjoys providing service and works well with others. You find challenges fun and are solution-oriented. Taking responsibility is a given for you, and you have a positive attitude towards new ideas and suggestions. Work Tasks The work tasks include common maintenance duties, both indoors and outdoors, such as simple repairs and maintenance, assembly and moving of furniture, and contacts with contractors and suppliers. The assignment also includes material transportation within the municipality and waste management. The work tasks vary depending on the season. Some administrative tasks also occur. Qualifications Upper secondary education or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Previous experience with similar work tasks. Good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken. Driver's license with extended privileges. Good health and physical fitness. Meritorious: Experienced and responsible driver. Driver's license for at least five years. Vocational certification for wheel loader and forklift. Training certificate/license for brush cutter and chainsaw. Good computer skills. Experience in work supervision.
