We are expanding and are therefore seeking new colleagues for our operations in Haparanda/Kalix. Work at both locations may be relevant. As a mobile security guard, you are responsible for conducting surveillance at multiple customer sites during your shift. You travel between customers by car and perform various types of inspections, including area surveillance, patrols inside facilities, alarm connections, alarm response, and site closures for customers. In this role, it's important to document your work and any incidents you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with significant responsibility. The tasks are highly varied - as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, nights or days. Shifts are often 12 hours, day or night, and you work together with one or more colleagues. Since our operations run every day of the year, it's common to work every other weekend. Not trained as a security guard? We'll cover the training! If you are not already trained as a security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training prior to employment. The training is 9 days, requires 100% attendance during the training period, and may take place at another location. We are security. We are Securitas. Requirements B-class driver's license At least 18 years old Approved grades in Swedish at upper secondary school level Meritorious if you have Approved security guard training, VU1 and VU2 Approved protective security officer training with valid certificate, civilian or military Approved order enforcement training with valid authorization Fluency in Finnish Experience with similar job tasks We see that you are a stable and stress-resilient person who can handle pressure and manage setbacks well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-focused when dealing with the public, but also understand the responsibility in your role and can be objective when needed. You have good communication skills and a willingness to contribute to good cooperation with both colleagues and clients. It is beneficial if you have experience with/knowledge of interacting with people and if your work is driven by a desire to help people regardless of their backgrounds.
