About the Role Want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained security guard, Securitas covers the cost of your training before employment. Basic training is 9 working days and is conducted at various locations in Sweden before employment begins. As a new employee, you will start with an introductory period to get into the work, feel confident, and learn our systems. As a patrol security guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers - primarily at industries, offices, and workshops - by protecting property and buildings against fire, theft, and damage. Typically, you will manage alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often feels free, but with significant responsibility. These positions suit you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. The work tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, night or day. Shift lengths vary, but often consist of 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since our operations run every day of the year, it's common to work every other weekend. One of your security guard colleagues in the country is Samir.
