Do you have an eye for what needs to be addressed at a school before anyone else even notices it? Then we're looking for you as our new key person at Noblaskolan Sundbyberg! About the role: As an IT technician and facilities manager, you take independent overall responsibility for ensuring our school functions optimally – both digitally and physically. The role is evenly divided between IT support and facilities management (50/50). You have considerable freedom and responsibility to plan your workday, identify areas for improvement in the school environment, and actively contribute input on how we develop our daily operations. Your main responsibilities IT & Digital Infrastructure (50%): Provide independent and pedagogical support to teachers and students regarding Chromebooks, Laptops, and iPads. Administer user accounts and permissions in Google Workspace and educational platforms. Responsible for hardware procurement, installations, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. Ensure and monitor that the school's Wi-Fi and local network operate without interruption. Facilities & Maintenance (50%): Perform preventive maintenance, furniture assembly, and minor repair and painting work. Manage systematic fire safety work (SBA) and conduct regular safety inspections. Handle mail, receive deliveries, and act as the main contact with external contractors and service providers. Keep the schoolyard and common areas safe, clean, and welcoming. Who are you? You don't wait for instructions; you have an "eye for the school" – you see what needs to be done, take your own initiative, and aren't hesitant to propose new ideas that make daily life easier for the entire school. Qualifications & Requirements: Documented, multi-year experience in both IT support/networking and practical facilities management/maintenance. Ability to work completely independently, prioritize appropriately in urgent situations, and drive your own projects. Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and basic network technology. Very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. A calm, solution-oriented, and pedagogical approach with both children and adults.
