Description:
Dalaidyllen has long operated an established residential group home (HVB) for children ages 8-13 and offers consultant-supported family foster care. With Dalaidyllen Vik HVB, we are taking the next step in our development, building on the knowledge, experience, and values that already characterize our operations. With us, you combine the security of an established organization with the opportunity to help shape something new. Dalaidyllen Vik HVB accepts children and young people ages 9-14 with difficulties in emotional regulation, impulse control, social interaction, and behavior problems, often combined with trauma, neurodevelopmental disorders, or other psychosocial challenges. We work from a trauma-informed and relational approach where safety, structure, and strong relationships form the foundation for care and treatment. About the Position As awake night staff, you are responsible for creating a calm, safe, and secure environment during the most vulnerable hours of the day. You work independently but are a natural part of the treatment team. Your presence makes a difference—both by being there when a child wakes up and needs support and by creating the sense of security that allows children to feel safe during the night. Low-Affect Care. Motivational Interviewing (MI). Experience working with children with trauma and neurodevelopmental disorders. Experience with documentation according to BBIC. Who Are You? You are someone who brings calm even in pressured situations. You have a professional demeanor, are attentive to detail, and understand that even small events during the night can be important for the child's continued development and treatment. You work independently but also appreciate being part of an engaged team where everyone contributes toward the same goal—providing children with safety, care, and the best possible conditions to develop. Personal suitability will be heavily weighted. We Offer: Close and engaged leadership. Regular supervision. Competence development. A multidisciplinary team with psychologist, nurse, and physician. Short decision-making paths. A workplace where quality is always in focus.
