About Marielund
Marielund is a small and family-like company with genuinely committed employees who truly care!
Job Description
We offer a flexible and developmental role within our established residential care (HVB) operations. In your role as a treatment provider, you are the one who finds possibilities, works from creating relationships, and has good knowledge of clarifying pedagogy and NPF. Our target group is children ages 12 to 16 who cannot live in their own homes. These are children with externalizing behavioral issues, difficulties with social interaction, and school-related problems.
As a treatment provider/support pedagogue, your responsibilities include creating relationships, supporting, guiding, and assisting children in various daily situations. Working with a low-arousal approach and using motivational conversations.
You as a Treatment Provider
We would describe Marielund's corporate culture as genuine—we always perform our work with great care. The child's best interests always come first—we truly care. We therefore see that you as a person share this commitment with us.
You thrive in social work where you communicate daily and build relationships with people in varying situations. You have the ability to create a positive and innovative climate that encourages collaboration and engagement within the team. We are each other's work environment.
You participate in finding solutions and methods that develop our work. You work to increase the pedagogical approach that supports each individual's participation and self-determination. You are also happy to contribute ideas and create new opportunities for the organization.
Since this role involves considerable autonomy, you must be independent and accustomed to taking initiative on your own. You also have the drive to structure your workday around the young people's weekly schedules, working toward established goals such as care plans and implementation plans. The role includes daily documentation, establishing implementation plans, and writing monthly reports.
You will always have support from the operations manager, coordinator, and treatment supervisor who, in addition to knowledge and experience, contribute great enthusiasm and positivity. Together we are a team!
We are looking for you who are trained as a social worker, social pedagogue, or have equivalent relevant higher education or at least 2 years of post-secondary education, and have at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people in similar operations. You speak and write Swedish fluently and hold a B-level driver's license.
Meritorious qualifications include training and experience in low-arousal approaches, clarifying pedagogy, TMO, Repulse, MI, and DBT.
We apply a 6-month probationary period. Full-time, scheduled awake nights on weekdays and weekends.
We conduct interviews continuously, so don't wait too long to submit your application!About Marielund
