Your assignment as a road worker As a road worker in our tunnel cleaning operations, you will be an important part of keeping Stockholm's and Mälardalen's tunnels clean and safe. You work with washing and cleaning of tunnels as well as operations and maintenance of roads. The work takes place during day and night shifts with traffic or closed traffic. You have close contact with the work management and collaborate with competent colleagues and subcontractors. The position is full-time with placement in Tumba. On occasional occasions, work may occur outside the Stockholm region. Night shifts are performed between 20:00–06:00. Day shifts are performed between 07:00–16:00. Standby duty may occur. To be qualified for the position of road worker, you should have: - Work experience with truck driving - B-license, C-license + YKB - Good Swedish, spoken and written It is also meritorious if you have: - C+E license - Vehicle technical or mechanical background from previous practical experience or training - Experience from road work or performing work with traffic in your vicinity - The training "Road Work 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3" Part of something larger Svevia is currently Sweden's largest operations contractor. In operations and maintenance, we handle, among other things, summer and winter road maintenance for half of the state's road network.
