SIA "Rīgas 1.slimnīca" announces an open competition for the position of
Manager of the Short-term Social Care Center
(one position for an indefinite period)
Position Objective:
To manage and organize the work of Rīgas 1.slimnīca's (hereinafter – Hospital) Short-term Social Care Center (hereinafter – Center) in accordance with the Hospital's and the Republic of Latvia's regulatory requirements. To ensure the resolution of clients' social problems, management of social case resolution processes, and representation of clients' interests and rights in other institutions in accordance with the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia, binding regulations of Riga City Council (hereinafter – RD), and requirements established by the Hospital.
Key Position Responsibilities:
Manage and organize the work of the Short-term Social Care Center, ensuring resolution of clients' social problems, management of social case resolution processes, and representation of clients' interests and rights in other institutions;
Ensure provision of center services in accordance with internal and external regulatory acts, cooperating with state and municipal institutions;
Ensure assessment of clients' (individuals who have difficulty caring for themselves and meeting basic needs due to age or health condition) social needs and identification of social problems;
Analyze the quality and effectiveness of service provision performance, including the use of material and financial resources related to service provision;
Develop and improve services provided by the center;
Requirements for Candidates:
Higher education (5th professional qualification level) in the field of social work;
Experience in a managerial position of at least 5 years;
Experience in ensuring provision of social services;
Proficiency in the state language at an advanced level;
Computer skills: text processing programs, use of email, internet browser usage, as well as working in a Windows environment and specialized Information Systems;
Ability to independently and rationally organize your work;
Ability to establish and maintain effective communication with colleagues and lead team work;
Psycho-emotional resilience;
High sense of responsibility.
