invites applications for the position of Director of the Latvia Fire and Rescue Museum (position code 1431 01) 1 vacancy work location Hanzas Street 5, Riga Requirements for candidates: at least a first-cycle higher professional education (preferably in humanities – museology, history, art history, culture, etc.); practical work experience in museum operations and cultural studies; experience in collections management, research, exhibitions, or educational work; ability to work with office software (Microsoft Office); State language proficiency at advanced level, grade 1 (C1); excellent communication and organizational skills; knowledge of at least one foreign language; electronic signature. Work experience in a state administration institution (in a management position) will be considered an advantage. Job responsibilities: organize, manage, and oversee the Museum's work, fulfillment of tasks assigned to the Museum, efficient use of personnel and other resources; organize and lead the development and implementation of the Museum's development strategy, policies, and work plans; ensure the development and compliance with guidelines for the Museum's overall artistic image, exhibition design, and promotion of the Museum's offerings; draft Museum orders, informational, methodological, and organizational documents within the scope of competence. We offer: responsible, interesting, and creative work; monthly salary from 1950.00 – 2020.00 EUR, which may vary based on individual evaluation criteria of the candidate; social benefits, including vacation allowance, health insurance (after probation period ends).
