We expect:
Mandatory qualification requirements:
compliance with the requirements of Article 7 of the Civil Service Law;
compliance with the requirements of Article 9 of the Law "On State Secrets";
academic or second-level professional higher education corresponding to the sector in architecture or construction (construction engineering or related engineering sciences);
education or experience in project management will be considered an advantage;
construction specialist certificate for independent practice in architecture or construction (construction engineering or related engineering sciences);
experience in a structural unit manager position for at least three years;
professional work experience in construction for at least ten years;
desirable experience in public administration;
desirable experience in the defence sector.
Additional requirements:
experience in implementation and development of construction (design) projects;
ability to apply knowledge in practice in project management and construction;
good knowledge and understanding of matters related to project management and construction;
ability to apply construction regulatory acts in practical work;
experience and knowledge in development of internal regulatory acts;
ability to set priorities, make decisions and take responsibility;
ability and skill to work in a team;
skill to express and argue one's opinion;
planning and organizational skills;
good skills in using technical tools and systems used at work (MS Office applications, AutoCAD, web browsers, etc.);
English language knowledge at least at B1 level, which is necessary for communication with allies;
driver's license (category B);
eID card for performing job duties.
General job duties:
plan and manage departmental work;
lead object inspection and construction acceptance commissions;
organize construction supervision in Ministry of Defence and National Armed Forces facilities undergoing renovation and new construction in accordance with the Construction Law;
monitor compliance with construction implementation contracts and deadlines;
develop and update internal regulatory acts in the construction field;
participate in the work of State Acceptance Commissions;
participate in procurement commissions.
Please note that the position competition will take place in two stages - during the first stage, the competition commission will evaluate the submitted documents and assess candidates' compliance with the requirements. For the second stage of selection – interview – the competition commission will invite only candidates who have passed the first stage.
