Siguldas novada pašvaldība Inčukalna pamatskola (Reg. no. 40900019414) invites applications for Deputy Director for Education and Extracurricular Activities (Siguldas novads, Inčukalna pagasts, Zvaigžņu iela 2, LV-2141) Responsibilities: • Knowledge of regulatory acts governing the education sector and ability to navigate them; • Understanding of educational and training content; • Direct the institution's educational work, analyze educational activities and set its objectives; • Understanding of developmental characteristics of students and principles of interpersonal psychology; • Ability to make decisions and respond effectively in emergency, non-standard situations, high-risk scenarios and other cases; • Psychological resilience and high standards of professional conduct; • Ability to build effective cooperation with education institution staff, students, their parents and employees of other institutions; • State language proficiency at the highest level; • Good skills in office equipment and business software; • Coordinate the cultural education program "Latvijas skolas soma"; • Plan STEM and civic participation projects. Requirements: • Higher education in pedagogy; • 3 years of experience in pedagogical work (school management experience in the education sector will be considered a priority); • Goal-oriented, responsible, with excellent collaboration skills and commitment to promoting individual development of each child; • Excellent skills in school management IT systems and portals.
