Position Objective: Plan, organize, and ensure the implementation of a quality preschool education process in the institution, providing methodological support to educators and promoting comprehensive child development in accordance with state preschool education guidelines.
Requirements for Candidates:
Compliance with the requirements of the Education Law and Cabinet Regulation No. 569 of September 11, 2018, regarding teacher education and professional qualifications;
Compliance with restrictions set forth in the fifth part of Article 72 of the Child Rights Protection Law;
At least three years of pedagogical work experience in education or educational management;
State language proficiency at the highest level in accordance with State Language Law requirements and proficiency in at least one official European Union language to the extent necessary for professional activities;
Knowledge of normative acts regulating the operation of an educational institution, the professional education field, and its development trends;
Mastery of the content of educational and teaching work and subject didactics;
Understanding of age-specific developmental characteristics of learners and the principles of communication psychology;
Good computer skills (MS Office applications);
Ability to prepare and format documents and ability to work with office equipment and information technologies;
Ability to make independent decisions, defend views with reasoning, work in a team, set priorities, and effectively plan, organize, and control work.
Main Job Duties:
Plan and ensure quality education process in accordance with regulatory requirements;
Ensure the implementation of preschool education programs;
Participate in the development of normative acts regulating the internal procedures of the educational institution and ensure their compliance;
Participate in the development of the educational institution's long-term development plans;
Monitor the progress of learners' adaptation process;
Analyze and evaluate the education process and its results, set new tasks, and inform educators and learners' parents about them;
Direct educators' methodological work, consult with educators, and provide them with methodological support;
Inform educators about professional development opportunities and maintain a database of educator professional development;
Promote educators' work experience and encourage educators in creative and research activities;
Ensure learners' participation in competitions, showcases, and coordinate work with gifted children;
Coordinate the work of the educational institution's support staff in addressing learners' learning, psychological, health, and adaptation issues, and provide learners with social and pedagogical assistance;
Conduct research on learners' developmental dynamics and ensure parents are informed about learners' academic achievements and problems;
Substitute for the educational institution's director during his or her absence.
