is looking for
ABA therapist/behavior analyst.
Project objective:
The project provides children with behavioral and addiction problems, as well as their families, with individually tailored, comprehensive support based on collaboration among specialists from various fields. This allows families to receive necessary assistance in a timely and coordinated manner in one location.
Service provision period from November 2026 to August 2029.
Key responsibilities:
SA service:
Provides support and consultations according to the developed Support plan, conducts behavioral analysis, determining the child's development level in various areas (communication, language, practical skills, reading, emotional understanding, etc.). Analyzes behavioral problems and implements a plan for behavior change and skill development to train communication skills, facilitate the ability to learn educational material in an educational institution, and develop independent living skills.
After a consultation cycle, prepares recommendations for the child and caregiver and submits them to the SA service social worker. Attends supervision (1× per month), participates in team meetings (1× per month), and engages in professional development activities. Observes ethics, data protection, and confidentiality principles in work.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (first cycle higher education) in social or human sciences (education, speech-language pathology, educational sciences, or healthcare with audiology-speech pathology or occupational therapy qualification).
- ABA training certificate (270 h).
- Practical experience under supervisor guidance 1500 hours, having received 75 supervision hours (half may be group supervision, up to 5 people per group).
Project implementation location:
Daugavpils City Municipality institution "Social Service" in cooperation with the foundation "Latvian Children's Support Fund" and the association "Resilience Center".
Compensation: 50 euro/consultation.
