Description:

TOGETHER WE ARE VINDELN Our organization is shaped by our employees. It is the people who carry out the assignments and deliver societal benefit. Together we make a difference and create value for many. Together we develop operations and people. In the world we live in, all expertise is needed, and everyone is important. We are therefore looking for a development strategist for the social sector - a role for you who want to combine strategic work with close, concrete support in everyday life. You are warmly welcome to apply! YOUR NEW JOB As a development strategist, you work both strategically and operationally close to the work. You hold together overarching processes but are also involved in implementation. You identify needs, translate ideas into practice and support managers and employees in succeeding with development work. You work across the entire sector – elderly care, disability care, authority operations and open care – and contribute to creating direction, engagement and results. You are part of the sector's management group, together with the sector manager, operations manager, MAR and MAS. You are a key person in the transition to new social services legislation and in the national learning process. You are responsible, among other things, for working with the sector's transition roadmap and holding together the systematic quality work. This means you plan and conduct quality meetings, follow up results and prepare the sector's annual quality report. An important part is creating direction while being close to the operations. You drive development issues forward, but do so together with others and with understanding for the conditions of everyday life. Sometimes you contribute with knowledge or serve as a sounding board – and often it involves being present and taking action to make development happen. You also work with investigations, environmental monitoring and collaborate closely with corresponding roles in Umeå's surrounding municipalities. YOUR EXPERTISE We are looking for you with an academic degree in social work and experience in case management, authority operations and documentation. Experience in management or project leadership is a merit, as is work with quality issues, follow-up or individual-based systematic follow-up. You are self-driven, structure your work well and are comfortable managing multiple processes at the same time. Assignments can come from different directions, so you need to be able to prioritize, see the whole picture and focus on what creates the most value for the entire sector. You are comfortable with assignments that are not always clearly defined from the start and have the ability to prioritize, solve problems and drive work forward toward set goals. You have good administrative ability and can in a pedagogical way support operations in their development work. REQUIREMENTS Academic degree in social work. Experience in case management, authority operations and documentation. YOUR NEW WORKPLACE The Social Sector has the ambition to continuously develop and improve. As an employee, you have great opportunities to influence operations and be involved in its development. We offer subsidized wellness activities and flexible working hours. There is also the possibility of some remote work and travel time work if the work tasks allow. VISION 2030 - TOGETHER WE ARE VINDELN Vindeln shall be home – for everyone who lives and works in the municipality. Here life comes together. Here there is room for everyday life and celebrations, work and leisure and for family and friends. Here there is room for development and establishment. Here there is also room for the soul, for greatness and for adventure – just outside the door it awaits. We who live here are quite ordinary people, perhaps just a little prouder and a little braver than most people are. #togetherweareVindeln Vindeln, with its good opportunities for both childcare and elderly care and a wide range of housing, is a safe place to live and work. With short distances to neighboring municipalities such as Umeå and Vännäs, there are also good opportunities for commuting for those who live elsewhere.
