Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for you to work as a development leader in the specialist field of data protection in Sweden's largest administration for functional support!

You will work closely with the operations, disseminate knowledge and provide support in systematic data protection and information security work. You work in a supporting role within the information security field together with your colleagues and participate in networks with other administrations' specialists in data protection and information security.
As one of the administration's three data protection officers, you coordinate and follow up on the administration's data protection issues and are responsible for dialogue with the data protection officer (DPO). You monitor external developments, develop governing and supporting documents, implement new legislation and develop methods and routines.
Your main responsibilities:
• Provide advisory and supportive guidance in the operations' data protection and information security work with a primary focus on data protection issues
• Organize and conduct information initiatives or similar knowledge-building measures
• Participate in various projects as an expert, for example in the decommissioning/implementation of IT systems or other digital services

• Investigate and handle personal data incidents
• Revise the administration's register inventory, issue register extracts and handle deletion requests
• Develop risk and incident processes
The position is located within the security and preparedness unit, which is part of the quality and governance department. Within the unit we have gathered issues related to physical security, personal security, civil preparedness as well as information security and data protection. We have a welcoming and pleasant workplace at Selma Lagerlöfs torg with an activity-based working approach. We offer flexible working hours, remote work and strive for a balance between work and leisure. This means a certain freedom, but also places demands on responsibility-taking from each employee. We have clear leadership based on Gothenburg City's approach; we know our mission and who we are here to serve, we care, we work together and we think innovatively.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have higher education, for example in public administration, law, IT, or another field that the employer deems relevant for the position. You must have documented knowledge of the data protection regulation and experience working with data protection issues.
You need to have good language skills in Swedish in both speech and writing as the position requires you to write reports, governing documents and statements. It also requires that you have good computer skills and knowledge of Office 365.
It is advantageous if you have experience working in various security fields. If you also have post-secondary education or experience from social work or work in law enforcement agencies, that is considered advantageous. It is also beneficial if you have worked as a development leader or equivalent in information security, data protection or security in a politically governed organization.
To succeed in the role as development leader for data protection, you need to be strategic in thinking but operational in action. You have analytical ability to handle complex contexts that affect the mission in relation to the administration for functional support and the external environment. The work involves both a leading and coordinating role, which requires you to be both collaborative and service-oriented.
