About Koppargården Koppargården is a care and housing facility in Vällingby with 174 apartments for permanent residence, short-term stays, and respite care. The operation has specializations in geriatric psychiatry, dementia, and somatic care and is in a development phase with a focus on quality and patient safety. You lead an operation that runs 24/7 and where conditions can change quickly. In the role, you need to be able to combine present and operational leadership with a long-term perspective on the operation's development. You lead by creating clarity, structure, and participation and actively work to give staff good conditions to carry out their mission. In the role you will: • Lead, plan, and follow up on operations based on mission, goals, and applicable legislation • Be responsible for work environment, finances, and operational development • Lead and develop staff collaboration and create a sustainable work environment • Ensure that the operation's resources are used efficiently and appropriately • Drive systematic quality and improvement work • Work actively with patient safety, deviations, self-checks, and follow-up • Ensure that older adults receive safe and quality care with the individual's needs, participation, and self-determination in focus • Collaborate closely with licensed personnel and other professionals regarding the older adult's needs • Have dialogue and collaboration with residents, relatives, and other internal and external stakeholders • Lead development and change work and translate follow-up into concrete improvements • Be responsible for staff competency development and create conditions for professional care work You are expected to be able to switch between operation-focused leadership and a more long-term and strategic perspective. You actively contribute to the development of the entire operation and see collaboration with other professionals and operations as an important part of the assignment. Your competence and experience Requirements: • Nursing degree and are a licensed nurse, or other licensed healthcare professional that the employer deems suitable for this assignment • Documented and current experience as a manager with responsibility for finances, work environment, and operations • Experience leading care personnel • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Good knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations within elderly care, such as SoL (Social Services Act) and HSL (Health and Medical Services Act) Meritorious: • Experience from management assignments within municipal elderly care • Experience working in a politically governed organization • Experience from care and housing facilities • Experience with systematic quality and patient safety work • Experience with change and development work • Experience with revenue-financed operations • Experience with operational follow-up and results-based work Personal qualities: We are looking for you as a confident, clear, and present leader.
