Development Engineer in Switchgear Systems for Siemens Energy

About the Role As a development engineer, you will become part of the Development & Standards department within Process Engineering, where you will join a specialist team working on the development and standardization of switchgear systems. You will have the opportunity to participate in development projects, investigate technical issues, and contribute to future technical solutions within Siemens Energy's operations. The role offers a broad technical scope where you work closely with both internal and external partners and have the opportunity to develop alongside experienced colleagues. Your Responsibilities In this role, you will, among other things: Contribute to the development and implementation of the technical roadmap for switchgear systems. Develop, improve, and maintain technical methods, guidelines, and standards. Provide technical support to development projects and customer order projects. Participate in technical reviews and quality assurance of solutions in the field. Collaborate with functions within R&D, procurement, maintenance, and external suppliers. Contribute to improvement of working methods and processes within the technical area. Analyze and investigate technical issues related to switchgear systems. We are Looking for You Who Have a degree in higher education or civil engineering in, for example, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy engineering, or a similar field. Are a recent graduate or have a few years of experience from technical work. Have an interest in mechanical systems and want to develop your expertise in switchgear technology. Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing. Work in a structured and analytical manner with the ability to assess technical solutions. Are collaborative, responsible, and proactive. Enjoy working in teams and contributing to common goals.
