About the clinic:
The clinic offers modern eye care for patients of all ages. You will work in a competent and dedicated team with access to updated diagnostic and treatment equipment. You will have the opportunity to work broadly within ophthalmology, while also having room to specialize in specific areas.
Areas within the clinic's services:
- General ophthalmology
- Pediatric ophthalmology
- Management and follow-up of diabetic retinopathy
- Glaucoma follow-up and chronic eye care
- Neurological and inflammatory eye diseases
- Cataract assessments and opportunity for cataract surgery for those with appropriate qualifications
The clinic is characterized by a good work environment, stable staffing, and structured collaboration between physicians, opticians, nurses, and nursing assistants.
Your role:
As a specialist physician in eye diseases, you will be responsible for:
- Assessment, treatment, and follow-up of patients with various types of eye diseases
- Active contribution to teamwork and cooperation with other professional groups
- Mentoring of resident physicians
- Participation in developing the clinic's work methods and medical processes
Requirements:
- Swedish specialist certification in ophthalmology
- At least two years of experience as a specialist
- Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of Swedish language, both spoken and written
