JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The Swedish Museum of Natural History is now seeking an experienced exhibition producer for the Offerings Unit within the Department of Public Activities. In this role, you will project manage the development, production, and implementation of exhibitions and other exhibition-related offerings. You are responsible for the entire process from idea and concept to finished production. You will lead and coordinate the creative process, which includes content, user-friendliness, interaction design, graphic expression, artistic, communicative, and pedagogical aspects, as well as the spatial design of the exhibition concept. You work closely with colleagues of various competencies within the museum and collaborate with external partners and suppliers. The work includes planning, leading production teams, procuring services, monitoring budget and schedule, and ensuring high quality in content, design, accessibility, and visitor experience. You will also contribute to the strategic development of the museum's exhibition activities. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Post-secondary education in relevant areas such as project management, production, design, or form, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. • Several years of experience project managing and producing exhibitions, scenography, or other equivalent activities in a museum, science center, or comparable public institution. • Experience leading and managing teams or projects without formal personnel responsibility. • Experience leading and coordinating complex processes with multiple internal and external stakeholders. • Experience with production processes from concept development to finished production. • Experience specifying, ordering, and coordinating external suppliers. It is a merit if you also have: • Knowledge in natural sciences. • Experience with user-centered development and design. • Experience in design and spatial design. • Experience with digital production of images, film, audio, or interactive applications. • Experience with public procurement.
