Welcome to our unit under the Quality and Development division! Work Tasks This role involves investigative work as well as administrative tasks and case handling within the Children's and Education Department's area of operations. The position involves independent work but also requires very good collaboration skills. You will work closely with department management and political governance. This requires you to be self-driven and able to advance your processes, but also collaborate with both internal and external actors, which is why it is important that you thrive in a service-oriented role. The role encompasses many different aspects and requires good organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines. Examples of work tasks include: writing service statements and other decision-making documents for both the Children's and Education Committee, conducting investigations individually and in collaboration with other departments and administrations, participating in and being responsible for various projects within the division's development areas, assisting the division with administrative tasks of varying nature. About the Workplace The primary mission of the Children's and Education Department is to offer a safe and stimulating learning environment where we equip children and young people for the future. You will be part of the Quality and Development division, which is tasked with supporting and contributing to the development of all the department's operations. Within the division there are four units, where you will be part of the investigation and development unit. Within the unit there are two development teachers and two investigators/case handlers. Furthermore, within the division there is the central child and student health unit, the staff unit, and the food unit. What We Are Looking For To succeed in this role, you have: a university/college degree in public administration, political science, or other education that the employer considers relevant for the position good IT skills very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have: experience working in a municipal operation and/or have knowledge of one of the department's areas of operation (education and/or culture and recreation) experience leading projects independently experience with case handling experience working in digital case and document management systems, for example Public360 knowledge in the area of municipal law such as the Administrative Code and the Municipal Act as well as the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.
