About the Position
As a child investigator within social services, you are responsible for:
Investigating, assessing, and making decisions according to applicable legislation such as SoL and LVU
Conducting qualified investigation work with the child's needs in focus
Meeting children, young people, and families in a professional, safe, and respectful manner
Working in a supportive and motivating way to create participation and conditions for change
Collaborating with the child's network and internal and external actors such as schools, healthcare, and other authorities
Documenting and managing cases in a legally secure manner according to applicable legislation and guidelines
With us, you work exclusively with the investigation process, and our intervention case managers are responsible for follow-up of interventions.
Is This You?
We are looking for someone who:
Has a degree in social work or another higher education that the employer deems equivalent
Has experience in social work, preferably investigation work with children and young people
Has a good ability to create and maintain professional relationships
Has an attentive, respectful, and validating approach
Has good self-awareness and the ability to meet children and people in emotional distress, crisis, or conflict with calm and professionalism
Has the ability to make realistic and well-founded assessments
Can see the whole picture and consider multiple perspectives in your work
Is flexible and can adapt to changed needs and situations
Enjoyed working collaboratively and contributes to a good work climate
Is stable and can maintain calm and structure even during periods of high workload
Holds a category B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles
It is a merit if you have good knowledge of applicable legislation, regulations, and guidelines within social services.

Salary between 36,000 and 52,400 depending on experience and responsibility. The final salary is determined individually and is based on an overall assessment of your educational background, previous experience, and the area in which you have worked previously.
